Star brite® Teak Sealer lasts longer than traditional sealers:

Surface Preparation:

Always start with a clean surface. For heavily weathered, gray, or black teak, thoroughly clean with Star Brite teak cleaner and degreaser . This not only cleans the surface and enhances the teak's grain and patina, but also opens the wood's pores, allowing the sealer to penetrate more evenly and ensuring maximum adhesion and effectiveness. If stains or black streaks remain, use your brush (not a wire brush) while the teak is still wet to remove any discoloration. Let the teak dry completely before applying the sealer.

Instructions for use:

Mix the sealer by shaking or stirring. After opening, use a mixing stick to dissolve any solids from the bottom of the can while stirring. Apply the product with a foam brush in the direction of the wood grain, using short, even strokes to achieve an even finish. Continue applying the product over the entire surface, finishing with strokes at natural break points, such as an edge. Once finished, apply a second coat for an even finish.
